More on the Passion of the Creep

This Anti-semitic Pottymouth Road Warrior thing is starting to really zing around the information ocean. This website has a link to the actual police report written when Gibson was apprehended for being a dangerous potential child-killer by driving while having drunk alcohol. If he owns half of Malibu like he says, he should be responsible enough to hire a driver. Who would Jesus run over on his way home from the bar?

I suspect this has more to do with some personal issues of Mr. Mel's that have been kept under some pretty tight wraps -- nobody behaves this extreme unless there's some aspects of their personal life that have come unscrewed. I don't follow celebrity gossip, but I wouldn't be surprised if more stuff starts flowing out -- things about him people have been saying in private now going public.

Is he married? If he is, a pending or future divorce based on spousal abuse or something similiar would not be surprising, but I don't follow celebrity news.

The religious aspect could be very relevant to this --- Gibson's need to make the crucifixion a big bloody gore fest, as in the toughest of the tough in a hyper extreme episode of "The Fear Factor" had many Christians scratching their heads. One left leaning Christian comment I heard was "what's with the fascination with violence, and why the need to manufacture scenes of violence involving Christ's trials carrying the cross like falling off a bridge, that aren't even in the Bible?"

Well, here we see it -- rather than use religion to moderate their behavior in a community setting as many do in the spirit of fellowship in Church, Gibson uses religion as a justification to project out his own personal behaviorial disfunctions. No wonder these types stink so bad when they get together in groups to use a pack predator mentality aimed at others rather than deal with their own lack of self esteem and dysfuntional inability to deal with people unless everyone is joining in with the same simple "Seig Heils."

Anyway, Ralph Reed got bounced in his election bid in Georgia, and most of those voters no doubt go to church, and a Christian minister said on CBS, "You cannot remake Christ into a Republican -- that's idolatry! The point is not to remake Christ into what you want to be, but what Christ said you should be, (as in having compassion for the poor, forgiving others, etc.)" so I think these developments are far more significant. People are waking up to these scam artists.
